Project Details
To support sustainable water management, PlanetDISK® Rotating Biological Disk (RBC) technology was selected for the treatment and reuse of wastewater generated from food production, dishwashing, packaging, and vehicle washing operations.
Designed to treat 80 m³/day of industrial wastewater, the system consistently achieves high removal efficiencies despite receiving wastewater with COD concentrations above 8,000 mg/L. The treated effluent is further polished by ultrafiltration membranes, producing high-quality reclaimed water suitable for irrigation reuse.
The 7 PlanetDISK® units consume only 2.6 kWh of energy, providing significant energy savings compared to conventional activated sludge systems while maintaining reliable treatment performance.
