Mining Camps – Domestic Wastewater Treatment – 218 m³/day
Project Details
PlanetDISK® Rotating Biological Disk (RBC) technology was selected by ABCO Water Systems for the treatment of domestic wastewater generated from remote mining camps across Australia. The system was chosen for its low energy consumption, minimal maintenance requirements, and ability to operate reliably in remote locations with limited operator involvement.
Designed to treat 218 m³/day of domestic wastewater, the plant consistently achieves high effluent quality while maintaining stable performance under varying hydraulic and organic loads. The low energy demand allows operation using small generators or solar-powered systems, making PlanetDISK® particularly suitable for off-grid applications.
