For the ARAMCO Yanbu Pipeline Project in Saudi Arabia, containerized PlanetDISK® Rotating Biological Disk (RBC) units were installed to treat domestic wastewater generated from workers’ camp facilities. The system was selected to provide a compact, reliable, and easy-to-operate solution capable of meeting discharge requirements in a remote environment.
By utilizing fixed-film biological treatment, PlanetDISK® technology delivers dependable treatment performance with low energy consumption and minimal operator involvement. The containerized design enables rapid installation and easy relocation, making it particularly suitable for temporary infrastructure and construction projects.
