Flow Controlling

Flow in channels is controlled by penstocks in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, potable water treatment plants, and power plants.

PlanetTEK channel penstocks are manufactured from mild steel or stainless steel and are resistant to corrosion from wastewater. They are flat and running in slide rails. Water tightness is provided by “P” and “double lip” seals. They work with a very small leakage rate, 0.4 liters/min/m, estimated.

Sluice Gates

Sluice gates are used in wastewater and water treatment plants, and power plants at the inlet and outlet of the tanks to isolate them when needed.

PlanetTEK sluice gates are manufactured from mild steel or stainless steel and are resistant to corrosion from wastewater. They are flat and running in slide rails. Watertightness is supplied by “P” and “double lip” seals. They work with a very small leakage rate, 0.4 liters/min/m, estimated.

But it must not be forgotten that pressure sides and rate are the most important effects to determine the leakage rate.

Stoplogs

Stoplogs are widely used in municipal and industrial wastewater treatment plants, potable water treatment plants, power plants, and water intake structures to control flow in channels.

PlanetTEK sloplogs are manufactured from mild steel or stainless steel and are resistant to wastewater. The door of Stoplogs can be manufactured as one part or they can be from several parts to reach the required door height. This kind of application provides more flexible usage to control flow in channels. Water tightness is supplied by “P” and  “double lip” seals.
