To provide reliable wastewater treatment under Ukraine’s challenging climate conditions, PlanetDISK® Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC) technology was selected for a municipal wastewater treatment plant in Lviv.
Designed to treat 200 m³/day of domestic wastewater, the three-stage RBC system was integrated into reinforced concrete tanks, ensuring long-term durability and stable performance. Thanks to its attached-growth process and insulated design, the system maintains reliable treatment efficiency even during cold winter conditions.
